Boston's Tragic Molasses Incident of '19
On a blustery morning in 1919, disaster unfolded Boston. A massive tank filled with sticky, sweet molasses burst sending a wall of of the thick liquid flowing through the streets. The force was catastrophic, flattening buildings and trapping citizens in a gooey mire. Hundreds of people were fatally injured, and many more suffered. Authorities fac
